PT Participates in “Boston Voices” Series

Boston, MA, August 31, 2005 — Boston literary figures Susan Manning and Ben Mezrich shared the stage on August 22nd during the noon hour at Faneuil Hall. Ms. Manning, Positive Teens magazine’s publisher, introduced two young Boston writers to share the spotlight as they read some of their published poems and essays from past issues of the magazine. Ms. Manning also read selected works from other Boston area teens whose writings have appeared in Positive Teens.

Published in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, Positive Teens, ACCENTUATING THE POSITIVE IN TODAY’S TEENS is a global publication. It has showcased articles authored by teen and young adult writers since its first publication in 1998.

Author Ben Mezrich, author of Bringing Down the House, also read a selection from his upcoming book Busting Vegas.

The readings were repeated later in the day at the Honan-Allston branch of the Boston Public Library.
