www.barronprize.org is the Web site of The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes — a partner of Positive Teens magazine. Author T.A. Barron, the founder of the Barron Prize, named it in honor of his mother Gloria. Each winner receives a prize of $2,000 that he/she must apply to his/her higher education or service project. Awards are given to honor “outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18 that have made significant positive difference to people and our planet.” Adults nominate all candidates.
