The Made-up Mask
Take off your eye shadow
And let the world see your soul
Take off your lipstick
And let the world see your tenderness
Take off your blush
And let the world see your emotions
Take off your cover up
And let the world see your imperfections
Take off your mask
Let the world see you
I want to unwrap you
I want to see the true gift
That hide's nature's wonders
Underneath the decorations
I will see everyone
From the richest businessman
To the poorest panhandler
All the same face
But different people
Still hidden behind a mask
But at least a real one
