No Way to Let Go

Your picture imprinted on my
white shirt hangs over my bed.
Your pictures appear everywhere
in my albums showing your joyous ways of life.
How do I find a way to let go,
when my life is surrounded by your memories?
How do I stop my tears from shedding,
when the thought of your
shortened life crosses my mind?
I can't and I won't!
My pain continues to linger on as I realize you're forever gone.
My tears will continue to shed
Until - we meet again…
